This past weekend, I drove nearly twelve hours with my girl and 2 of her friends to a conference in Chicago.

The first massive step was simply deciding to travel to a conference out of city unaccompanied. I had 2 friends WHO would be there, however, we have a tendency to weren't going along that meant I'd show abreast of my very own, with nobody to cover behind. Days before we have a tendency to left for Chicago, Step out of your comfort zone I used to be having heaps of doubt regarding going. All of my recent insecurities were starting up. I've modified heaps within the last number of years and eventually had to cue myself of that. I favor meeting new folks and that I have a voice and this was aiming to be a good experience!!!

I had planned to arrive in Chicago early Friday afternoon, however due to heaps of building, that did not happen. I've driven to Chicago before, however ne'er quite this so much into the town or during this reasonably traffic. The edifice was simply over a mile away after we weekday in traffic for over AN hour.
